A manufacturer can have the right capability and still be absent when a buyer searches for a solution. Engineering language, project evidence and product data may be scattered across pages, documents and datasets, while an AI answer engine repeats whatever it can find. Daydream addresses that discovery problem as a managed service, combining search agents with a dedicated human Growth Lead. The useful lesson is about making authoritative information findable—not handing an agent the authority to quote or sell.
What Daydream does
Daydream is the San Francisco/Bay Area AI-native SEO and AI-search agency founded by Thenuka Karunaratne and Shravan Rajinikanth in 2023. It evolved from programmatic search work associated with Karunaratne’s earlier Flixed business into a fuller managed service. The public offering describes a seven-lever organic-growth method, SEO agents, editorial and programmatic content, technical and search-results research, and an AI Visibility Dashboard based on real buyer prompts. It is not evidenced as a self-serve software product, an open-source tool or an industrial quoting system. 1 2 3 4 5
The disclosed workflow starts with commercial-intent and audience research, competitor analysis, keyword clustering and a roadmap. For Lighthouse, Daydream’s agent analysed the top ten ranking pages, extracted structures, grouped keywords by search-results overlap and collected “People Also Ask” questions before the team sequenced editorial pages and smaller programmatic sets. Twingate’s programme used vulnerability and breach datasets enriched with government and private sources, company announcements and news; more than 1,400 pages were human-reviewed before launch. 6 7
What the named cases report
The strongest evidence comes from provider-authored customer stories, so the figures are reported observations rather than independently audited causal results. Twingate’s pages reached close to 40,000 monthly organic visits within seven months of a December 2023 launch and accounted for 55% of total monthly organic visits after more than 1,400 pages. Final Round AI’s reported large-language-model-referred sessions rose from about 100 per month in January 2025 to about 1,000 in May, while Google organic sessions rose from about 11,000 to about 107,000. 7 8
Lighthouse reports 1.5 million search impressions and more than 8,400 clicks in the first four months after an October 2025 launch, across 92 pages. It also reports roughly 17% visitor-to-demo booking on location programmatic pages, but gives no exposed denominator, control group or attribution method. These are traffic, impressions, sessions, visibility and conversion observations—not verified revenue, return on investment or proof that Daydream alone caused the changes. 6
The industrial boundary
For an industrial business, Daydream is best treated as a discovery and content layer. Illustratively, it could turn approved capability records, material constraints, equipment, capacity, project evidence, revisions and buyer questions into structured pages, then test whether those pages are retrieved and cited for 20–50 real questions in one sector. The test should measure retrieval accuracy, citation quality, qualified visits, demo or request-for-quotation starts and human correction time.
That application is not a reported Daydream industrial deployment. A technical owner must still approve drawings, revisions, tolerances, materials and compatibility. Commercial owners must approve availability, lead times, prices and binding-offer language. The retained evidence does not show autonomous production-site changes, legal or product-claim approval, pricing control, or sales closing. Discovery should remain separate from a sale, and a useful draft should not become a commercial commitment by default.
Controls before scaling
No Daydream-specific public price, contract term, setup fee, usage limit, service-level agreement or integration fee is disclosed. Daydream educational material gives broad market ranges of roughly $4,000–$12,000 per month for responsible SEO and around $8,000–$30,000 monthly for a B2B software investment; these are context, not a Daydream quotation. Budget separately for engineering review, developer or content-management-system work, migration, exception handling and measurement. 9
Use a canonical product and entity register, revision-effective dates, unit and currency normalisation, material and compatibility checks, stale-price and capacity expiry, source citations and role-based publishing permissions. Keep initial connections to enterprise resource planning, product-lifecycle-management and customer systems read-only. Require approval before publication or outreach, quarantine conflicting records and log the source, prompt, model, reviewer and timestamp. Daydream’s security architecture, retention, subprocessors, service levels and integration controls remain procurement questions. 1 4 6
