Can we stop after one step?
Yes. We review each delivery before you decide to continue. You can stop with the diagnostic and roadmap, the reusable data foundation, the initial discovery and content work, or the working pilot and its handover. We recommend connecting the steps, but there is no automatic obligation to continue. Rollout and monthly support require separate agreements.
What does the MCP server do, and who can access the facts?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. We use the server to give authorised AI tools controlled access to approved facts from agreed sources. Permissions depend on role and purpose, with public product information kept separate from customer prices and internal information. Access to a source does not grant permission to publish, change records or make commercial commitments.
Does step 3 include implementation?
Yes. We deliver the agreed initial technical SEO/GEO/AEO work, a content plan and selected content, alongside reusable mechanisms that use cleaned data for e-commerce catalogue and product information and target keywords. We agree the pages, channels and initial volume in the proposal. Extensive content production, link building and wider channel work are scoped and quoted separately.
How do the data, SEO and agent work fit together?
We start with the commercial facts your team needs to sell accurately. We clean and structure those facts, connect the agreed sources and put approved information into selected pages and channels. A focused agent then uses the same information to help prepare buyer enquiries. SEO and the buyer interface are parts of this work; the pilot tests one defined sales task on your data.
Does OfferSignal replace our ERP or PIM?
No. Your ERP and PIM remain in use, alongside relevant CRM and e-commerce systems. We map which systems own product descriptions, stock, financial records, drawings and prices, then agree a shared fact model and the connections needed for the selected work. This allows approved information to be reused without replacing those systems.
Does the first pilot cover external procurement and our website?
We select one route initially: an external procurement enquiry, which may come from a purchasing agent, or a buyer enquiry on your website or product pages. We test it on a representative data sample. Adding the second route, rolling out more widely and introducing the data-entry layer require a separate decision after the pilot.
Can an agent send a binding offer or place an order?
We define the permissions and approval process for the selected workflow. The pilot retrieves information and prepares enquiries for review; it has no assumed authority to make binding offers, order or pay. Your authorised owners approve technical fit, prices, availability, terms and commitments. Any later ordering capability needs its own scope and controls.
How is the budget agreed?
We quote the diagnostic and roadmap, and the selected pilot, as fixed-scope packages. Data work is priced according to volume, quality and integrations, with initial discovery and content work defined in the proposal. Rollout receives a separate project quote. Monthly support and development have an agreed service level and work volume, with hosting, model/API use and third-party costs identified separately. We confirm each stage’s budget before starting; there is no universal OfferSignal price.
How long does the work take?
The diagnostic and roadmap have an indicative duration of 2–3 weeks. A selected pilot may take 4–6 weeks after its data, access and controls are ready; some agreed data work can continue in parallel. These are starting estimates, not a guaranteed total schedule. We agree the timetable according to data volume, readiness and rollout scope.
What should we bring to the first call?
Bring one public offer, a recurring enquiry, the main information sources and the person who owns the problem. A safe representative sample is enough for us to assess fit. Please keep credentials and sensitive customer files out of the public website.
Can you guarantee AI recommendations or search rankings?
No. We can improve the accuracy and usability of your information, make agreed technical changes and measure the results. External platforms decide what they retrieve and rank. We track visibility, qualified enquiries and orders separately rather than treating a mention or a click as evidence of a sale.
